Your players open it on your website: news, server status, Play and Repair. Dark Fantasy design with lava sparks.

How it works

Three steps. No programming.

    Upload to your website

    Copy the MuGuard folder to your hosting, open its Admin, create your account and activate your license key. Everything else is set from Admin.

  2. 2

    Add your client

    Put your MU client in the client folder (or upload a .zip from Admin) and press Scan files. Set your logo, icon and background.

  3. 3

    Players press Play

    Players download MuGuard.exe into their MU folder. At every Play it updates the files, scans for hacks and starts the game.

Do I need MUCMS?

No. MuGuard is a separate product with its own license. It works next to any website, including MUCMS.

What does my hosting need?

PHP 8.0 or newer with the curl, openssl and zip extensions. No database is needed. Players need Windows 7 SP1 or newer (.NET Framework 4.8, already on Windows 10 and 11).

Does it stop every cheat?

It stops the common cheat tools. It runs in user mode, so an experienced cheater can still try to bypass it. For full control, turn on the server gate: only players with MuGuard running can join.

Do players need to run it as administrator?

No. Players copy MuGuard.exe into the MU folder and start it like any program.
